One of the best hotels in Tokyo, full stop. Opened in 2020 across the top six floors of the Otemachi One tower, a straight shot from Tokyo Station — the location is almost unfair, with the Imperial Palace gardens spread out below and, on a clear winter morning, Mt. Fuji on the horizon. The rooms are calm and modern, the spa is excellent, and the top-floor bar is a destination in its own right. It’s a Four Seasons, so the service is exactly what you’d expect; the surprise is how un-corporate it feels for a big-city flagship. Book well ahead — it fills up.
